John "Rogue" Herlihy Joins The Team At American Motor Works Co.
John “Rogue”
Herlihy has accepted the position of Director of Research and
Development for the American Motor Works Company. Rogue has been
employed at the HMW Motorcycle Shop in West Melbourne, Florida, which is
evolving into American Motor Works. American Motor Works manufactures a
high quality, precision- built, high performance motorcycle in Palm Bay,
Florida.
Rogue brings
with him a past lifetime of motorcycling experience which includes 30
years as a motorcycle mechanic working for various motorcycle shops
including one of his own. He has also done Research and Development and
Product Testing for numerous well-known aftermarket companies. In his
current position, Rogue will be assigned to the Engineering Department,
answering to Jeff Starke (CEO), and to John Compton (President). His
primary duties will be to design and implement products to perfection,
and to apply them into assembly and manufacturing for mat for
production. He will also assist in the procurement of products as well
as in the documentation of all technical book publications and service
bulletins. He will design and implement all procedures for product
manufacturing.
